I've signed up for my first 5K run/walk, my son said i should load up on carbs the night before ? Does anyone have any tips on how to prepare myself for this I am going to the Y sometimes twice a day, walking and zumba for an hour each.

If I boil beef in beef stock just to make it tender how do I log that ? im not "eating" the stock im only boiling the beef in it?

best time to weigh myself?
When is the best time to weigh yourself? morning, afternoon, before bed and should it be done around the same time ? I get a break during the day betwen 9:30 and 12:30, I go to the Y then come home and weigh myself then have lunch, should I do it before I go to the Y?
