Those of you with 100 (or around that number) to lose
I just readjusted my goal to lose 101 pounds total. I'm 5'8" and have started using a pedometer to help me not stop moving until I reach 10,000 steps a day or more. I also dabble with weights ranging from 5 to 35 pounds. So I changed my settings also to say that I am 'active' and it upped my calories to 2020! That's crazy…

Which do you trust - MFP or mapmywalk
according to mapmywalk I have burned 146 calories. It's linkEd with this account, and according to MyFitnessPal I've only burned 53 - with the same amount of steps. So does MyFitnessPal under exaggerate or does MapMyWalk over exaggerate? Because that's almost a 100 calorie difference which is pretty big! If it was just off…

Finally!!
Stepped on my scale this morning - 199.8 I could of cried. Snailing along here...what helps motivate you?
I am losing weight so slowly. .1 here. .2 there. I can't believe how slowly I'm losing. I just keep trying to tell myself if I give up I will regret it and that any loss, no matter how small, is better than a gain. It all will add up in the end, right? If you're a slow loser what motivates you to stay focused?

GPS Walk/Run Apps
I use an app called MapMyRun and according to it walking 0.82 miles in 15 minutes and 47 seconds at an average speed of 3.1 mph burned a total of 113 calories. That just seems too good to be true. What do you do when you haven't ate enough? I slept in big time today and now I'm way under. Its after 8 pm and I'm over 500 under my 1200 a day limit. Should I just say oh well? Eat something big? What do you do?
