Snailing along here...what helps motivate you?

I am losing weight so slowly. .1 here. .2 there. I can't believe how slowly I'm losing. I just keep trying to tell myself if I give up I will regret it and that any loss, no matter how small, is better than a gain. It all will add up in the end, right?

If you're a slow loser what motivates you to stay focused?

Strangely, sometimes I have to become less focused (on weight loss) to stay motivated. If things are crawling along but I'm not at a place where I need to change up the plan, I just put it on autopilot, follow my plan, and focus on something else for a while. The new focus might be more fitness related, or it might be something completely different. It helps if my new focus is something I can control the outcome of a little easier or is fairly short term, like cleaning the garage, painting a room, organizing photos, etc.

You might need to adjust your calories, or log more accurately, you shouldn't have such problems losing if you still have 50 lbs to lose.

That being said, yeah it's tough. I stall every single month for 2-3 weeks. It's just incredibly frustrating. But gaining weight back isn't the solution, and I still don't like how I look, so there's no other option unfortunately.
