Weight loss and changes sleep habits - normal?
When I was larger, I was a heavy sleeper (both literally and figuratively lol) and even had sleep apnea. I would snore and could sleep through ANYTHING. Now that I have shed some my weight I no longer snore, but I find that I am a sensitive sleeper, not only is it harder for me to fall asleep because its harder for my…

Whats your difficult foods since surgery?
I am one year out and though for the most part I have no real issues with foods but in the last few months I have strayed away from my tried and true diet and started eating different things (both good and bad) and I have been surprised at some of the results, even more so that I am still having issue this far out. Just…

Airport Horror Story - Post-weight loss story!
So in the last year or so I lost over 150 pounds and I have been on three trips which involved plane travel. Although I love the fact that with the loss in weight I can fit into the seat comfortably, EVERYTIME I go through security because of my loose skin on my upper arms, stomach, and thighs (and as of today butt) I set…

Dealing with negative feed back
I'm getting sick and tired of the negative feed back I'm getting aside from unsolicited exercise for my bat wings (thanks like I'm not feeling self-conscious as it is about it :embarassed: ) - today's comment courtesy of my dad, is that I need to go to the doctor because I'm sick. I asked him if it was because I have been…

Is size 10 fat?
I ask not to start controversy, but because my whole adult life I have never been smaller then a size 18 and now, after nearly a year and a half of hard work I have found myself on the cusp of size 10. Initially I was happy and thought it was a great size, but when I go clothes shopping (again perhaps because I'm not used…

Does hiking burn more calories then walking?
Dumb question I know, but I cant figure it out for the life of me if hiking is equivalent to walking or not. When logging it the amount of calories burned seemed comparable but shouldn't it matter what type of trail you take - i.e. a lot of up hill/ down hill or just straight? Thanks for any feed back.

Stress Eating
So after over 8 months, since being sleeved, I have being good with my eating and avoiding back/ crap foods, and just like that in one moment, I let all my good work go to waste and pounded down some fun size chocolates after a very stressful morning.:embarassed: I have been over eating the last few days mostly due to…

If you still choose to eat less than 1200 calories a day...
I am sorry but I needed to post this. I ALWAYS see people who complain about either (a) "not being hungry enough" or (b) complaining about feeling sick or ill after they start on MFP and then I see that on a REGULAR basis they are eating below MFP and ALL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL suggestion of 1,200 calories a day. [if you must…

Suggestion for HRM?
I'm looking into investing in a HRM. I want something that also has a some sort of distance/ mileage tracker (if any of them have that so I can track my jogs/ runs). I see a lot of brands online and in stores and I was hoping for some suggestions where to start and what to look for. Thanks for the help.

Cycling Question
So I just got back on a bike after nearly 8 months and a 50+ weight loss and I was in hell lol. It took me over 20 minutes to ride 2 miles, according to my tracker I biked at a rate of 4.45 miles and hour, what?! I can jog at that rate. I though that perhaps because of the weight loss and my being more fit riding the bike…
