Advice from Lifters, Please
My hands and wrists hurt when I'm lifting, and I'm not even lifting all that much yet. Will it always be this way? Is it normal? Is there anything I can do to make it less painful?

Endomorphs and Cardio
I'm endomorph all the way. 5'0. 116lbs. 22.5" thighs. 37" hips. 27.5" waist. I started doing less cardio and weights last August and stuck to it, but I don't like what has happened to my body. Although my lower half is close to what I was going for, I have more stomach fat than ever. I have a very strong core, and probably…

What's your average weekly burn from exercise?
Please include weight, height, how many hours (approx) you spend training/exercising, and whether you use MFP or HRM for calorie burn calculation. Weight: 115 Height: 5'0 Hours x week: 7 Average Weekly Burn: 2055 (HRM) I realize some people may have to give very rough estimates, but I'm interested all the same. Thanks!

Weightlifting vs. Bodyweight Training
I don't have access to a gym here, but I do have 12 lb dumbbells, 50 lb barbell, and YouTube. I've been doing a 25 minute full-body routine 2-3 x weekly, with lots of compound moves. I teach a bodyweight training class twice a week. My most consistent student is looking and feeling fabulous and fit, as I was before getting…

Short ladies eating 2100 or more
Are you there? By short I mean under 5'3. How much do you eat and how much do you exercise? Please share height and weight too. I'm 5'0, 115lbs and I've been told that my TDEE is as low as 1700 on some sites, and as high as 2,300 on others. So I decided to figure it out myself and have been tracking my weekly NET calories…

FT60 Users... Help!
I just got mine two days ago, so batteries can't be the problem. I wear it tight. Super tight. I get the sensors wet. Drenched. Totally saturated. But every GD time I go into plank position, or do anything on the floor, it reads 00 and tells me to check it. It was really a pain in the butt. Ruined my workout because of all…

The Best Heart Rate Monitor
So I live way out where Amazon Does Not Deliver. But a friend is coming from the U.S and can bring me my heart rate monitor!!! Yay! I need to know which one to get because this doesn't happen every day. I've already had to wait for months for this opportunity, so I have to get it right. Please only recommend the kind with…

Do I HAVE to take a Rest Day?
I'm 37yo, 5'0 ft, 119 lbs right now. I've already lost 18 lbs and am 6 lbs away from my ideal weight. I kept my calories lower for the first couple of months on MFP, but really, I need to eat. Food is good, and it makes me happy. And I eat good food, so that's not an issue. Anyway, I WANT to eat an average of 2000 cals x…

Light, Moderate, Very - how many calories do you burn?
How many calories do your burn a day with exercise, on average? And would you call that lightly, moderately, or very active? I'm at around 350, 6 days x week, but don't know what to call it. I'm 5ft, so that means about 80 min of medium intensity workout. Oh, and your size, since different sizes burn different amounts of…

suggested sugar intake - seriously?
I don't eat sweets. I have 3 coffees a day with 1 tiny teaspoon of sugar in each. I have 1 dessert after dinner. Homemade, so not too sweet. I may or may not have some fruit or a tbsp of jam on toast for breakfast. But I end up with a sugar intake double of what is suggested by MFP, on most days. How can this be? Are all…

Used to be a dancer
But then my knees started failing me 18 months ago. Then, 9 months ago, I kicked a 20-year tobacco addiction. Without dancing or smoking, I've put on 30 pounds - which may not sound like much to some people - but I'm barely 5ft tall - so that's like 60 pounds for other (taller) people. I was depressed and resigned to…
