Are you there?
By short I mean under 5'3.

How much do you eat and how much do you exercise?
Please share height and weight too.

I'm 5'0, 115lbs and I've been told that my TDEE is as low as 1700 on some sites,
and as high as 2,300 on others.

So I decided to figure it out myself and have been tracking my weekly NET calories to figure out what EXACTLY my TDEE is, and I think I'm somewhere around 2200 (for maintenance) with exercise, and around 1850 on days without exercise.

I eat 1900-2200 on weekdays, and up to 2600 on weekends,
but having just recently upped it, I'd like to know if there are other shorties out there able to maintain eating over 2100.
I was feeling very tired and weak trying to NET 2000, which is why I'm upping.

I exercise 6 days a week for approx an hour = 300 to 400 calorie burn.

I want to believe that I really CAN train my metabolism to eat more and burn more, and build more muscle,
and would love to know if this has worked for you.

I'm not a shorty, but gotta chime in. I eat way more than a lot of people taller/bigger than I do, and I am still slowly losing weight. If you can do it, do it! I love food! I have a lot of muscle mass and have maintained a very small deficit, which I think has kept my metabolism high. I started netting at 1400, then went up to 1500 and then 1600. I actually usually net 1700-ish, and eat 2100-2200 per day.

It sounds like you are doing the right thing by keeping track of YOUR calories and results. You may not find many people who are just like you, but don't let that convince you to eat less than you need. Consider yourself blessed!

Read this thread. Most of these women are losing at 1800 which means they would maintain at 2200+.
