I read somewhere that you should lift weights every other day, not everyday. My mom also told me that, and I was just wondering how I'm supposed to do Jillian Micheal's 30 day shred if I cant lift weight's everyday? Will I damage my muscles if I lift everyday? I'm pretty confused about this.

HRM and average HR
I got a timex HRM because it was cheaper than most (43$) and I wanted to know my accurate calories burned. Unfortunately it's reading way too high for my liking. Does it matter what I eat?
I've seen a different set of opinions here, but I'm seriously wondering. Does it matter what I eat as long as i can fit it into my calories for the day? For example, I ate two slices of pizza and some soda yesterday but still went under my calories, so will I still lose weight or gain it because i ate "bad" food?
