I read somewhere that you should lift weights every other day, not everyday. My mom also told me that, and I was just wondering how I'm supposed to do Jillian Micheal's 30 day shred if I cant lift weight's everyday? Will I damage my muscles if I lift everyday? I'm pretty confused about this.

30DS is more cardio based, it is not true weight lifting. Jillian Michael's herself has said she never intended for it to be 30 days in a row, it is just 30 days of workouts planned out for you and she wishes they had named it differently because it's confusing. But yes, if you are doing focused weight lifting then take time off between muscle groups.0

I just completed the 30ds in 33 days...with the amount of weights being lifted you do not need rest days...I mean we are talking hands weights of maybe 10lbs (at max) doing maybe 15-20 reps of an exercise then a different exercise then another 10-15 reps..trust me no rest needed from that0

30 day shred is cardio with weights, not weightlifting.0
