Hi everyone! So I am hearing more and more about IIFYM. I am not sure wether i should be counting my macros, or calories. I have been just tracking calories and not my macros. I almost always go over my sugar and sometimes carbs. Would this cause my weight loss to speed up? And what do i track?

I should be losing weight??
I used to be eating only about 800 calories a day. Since then i have realized that eating so low under my goal is not healthy. I now eat around 1300 but i have gained around 8 pounds in the span of 2-3 weeks. At this deficit i should still be losing weight! Does anyone have a explanation for this??

Eating too much!!
I recently started working out again, every day. I usually do some strength training then move on to at least 30 min of cardio. I find myself getting hungry alot more often than i used to. Is the exercise causing this? If so should i stop working out and just eat my goal?

Food Obsession?
I am always looking up tutorials on cooking on youtube, or pinning food pictures on pinterest. Food is really all i think about. I feel like my life is just me passing time until my next meal. I constantly find myself looking up calorie content in many different food items as well. Always to help myself stop this?
