Hey gang, I started Insanity this weekend and completed first two days. UNFORTUNATELY, my HRM decided to break down this weekend as well. I'm totally guess on my calorie burn. Anyone have a good estimate on what I burnt in 40 minutes? I'm 155 lbs and 5'6. Thanks!!

My HRM is acting Wacky!???
The past several workouts my HRM has taken about 10 minutes to "get going" properly. What is my daily calorie deficit?
May be a dumb question, but what is the daily calorie deficit already set by MFP, or does it depend on what your loss is set at? I have my loss set at 1.5 lbs. per week. If my BMR is 1,428 and it sets me at 1,200 calories for the day, am I only deficiting 228 calories? (not taking in workout calories to account) Or is it…

Protein Shakes
I am thinking of trying to incorporate some protein shakes into my diet. Just want to up my protein more than I am getting through foods. Any suggestions on shakes that are less expensive and where I can buy them? Do they have to come from nutrition stores such as GNC?

flaxseed???
I have noticed a lot of people using flaxseed to things? What exactly is the added nutrient you get from flaxseed? Is it to add fiber? Can you add it to most anything? Sorry, maybe be a silly question but I don't have a lot of "experience" with flaxseed. :-) Thanks for helping!

Weird thing about TOM??
Hey Ladies, I have a strange question about TOM? I seem to lose really steadily before TOM and even during TOM, but then after it's over and stop losing and sometimes start to gain slowly. It seems totally backwards for me, but I can't understand why that would happen? Any ideas??

Just got my HRM in the mail....
and I LOVE it! I'm so glad I bit the bullet and spent the money. It's sooo worth it! I actually look forward even more to working out and seeing what I'm truly burning. Definitely made me realize how inaccurate machines readings were for me!
