21 days to break a habit
I had to join this group and offer inspiration and hope that you can break the sugar habit, I did. On 1 Jan 2013 I decided I wanted to stop taking sugar in my tea after doing so for 40+ years. It was my New Year Revolution. I decided to choose something I knew was doable. About 4 years ago, I dropped from taking 2 sugars…

Don't quit!
Came across this poem, thought I'd share: Don't Quit When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down, And you feel like the biggest failure in town. When you want to give up just because you gave in, and forget all about being healthy and thin. So What! You went over your points a bit, It's your next move that…

Workout clothes or PJ's
What do you wear while working out at home? I find if I get all dressed up in proper workout gear I can convince myself I'm there to exercise. I've always had a problem working out at home, never quite feels right but I'm going to try and do this 30 day shred.

Munich friends
Hi, I'm a Brit living in Munich, been here for 5 years. It would be great to have support from this neck of the woods. I'm currently working through the C25K programme and I'm at week 7, so not too long before I graduate. I plan on doing the follow up programme 5210K, as I'd like to take part in the Munich 10K run in…

If you don't mind, I'm going to blow my own trumpet!
Not the kind of person to do so, bit of an introvert, not shy per say but quiet, lacking in confidence. Anyway I'M SO BLOODY PROUD OF MYSELF! Beginning of January I decided I wanted to lose weight, no real plan. My motivation, I'm 50 next year and I just want to feel better about myself at this milestone in my life. I…

Week 7 here I come!
Just had to share my joy on completing week 6 today. I was beginning to think week 6 was jinxed and that I'd never get through it. I caught a cold 2 weeks which affected my ear and therefore my balance, so couldn't run. Thankfully, I'm improved and today, although it was freezing outside and snow all around, I went out…

Starting W4D1 - anyone else?
I can not believe I'm at wk4. My husband cannot believe I've stuck with the plan. I'm so motivated and even though the weather is against me (snow/severe cold) I'm not letting it beat me. I think that alone is what's motivating me. Anybody else at this point of the programme? Love to hear how you're coping.

Newbie on a mission...
....to lose those pounds. Hi, my name is Anne and I currently live in Munich, Germany. I've lived here for just over 4 years but I was born in Yorkshire, England. I have just 18 months until I turn 50 and I want to arrive at this milestone feeling better about myself than I do now. I could really do with some support on my…

Hi, newbie to C25K
I started the programme on 6th Jan and have gone out every other day since, so I'm due to complete W2D3 tomorrow. I feel I'm working through the programme too quickly. Is it better to limit myself to 3 x per week or, as I've been doing, is every other day acceptable? I've just downloaded W3 and I'm worried I'll fail to…
