Just looking for some new friends who are also losing those stubborn pounds!
I'm 19, 5 ft 3 and weighed in at 116 lbs this morning. Just seeing if there's any other girls out there, not necessarily with any of the same stats as me (!) who would to like some motivation - and help motivate me! Add me :)

More support wanted from non-overweight people :)
I couldn't think of how to word the title properly sorry. But there's a lot of forums about overweight people wanting some friends and motivation to lose 80 lbs or 100 lbs or even 50 lbs. However, I'm looking for a bigger support group from women (preferably younger women so I can relate but all support welcome) who…

Sickness = 4 lbs heavier. Need some reassurance and motivation! :(
I was quite sick for a few days. Ironically, I was physically feeling sick, put on anti-sickness medication and lost my appetite YET managed to gain weight. This was due to my brain's general constant desire for food so whenever I made myself eat something, only high-carb and fatty foods appealed to me. So I would eat lots…

Starting to get quite light but still have very big legs?
Anyone else have the curse of the fat thighs? At somewhere around 120-122 lbs and 5'3" you'd think a young girl's legs would start looking quite a good size, if not exactly super slim then starting to look a good normal size. I don't know if I'm seeing them as bigger than they actually are, but they still look like tree…

Best compliments you've received so far?
One of the few minor reasons I want to lose weight is because I've never really been complimented about the way I look before, either by girlfriends or by guys who might be attracted to me. I've had people say I had nice boobs or bum but that was just because I had extra fat on me that made them big. So last week I went…

Can an American quickly explain you dress sizes to me?
In the UK, its just even numbers. You're either a 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 or so on. I thought US sizes were also even numbers (2, 4, 6, 8 and so on) and 4 numbers smaller than UK (i.e. US 8 is about a UK 12). But in a couple movies, and recently on MFP I've seen and heard people mention sizes 3 and 5 and 7 and other odd…

Eating under calorie goal
Now that I'm back at university, I can buy and eat all the food I like and avoid everything I'm not so keen on (as opposed to my mum buying everything at home). As a result, I eat and eat but what I eat tends to be fairly low calories anyway. I don't feel like I eat "not enough", but calorie-wise some days I'm going under.…

Looking for support from young women under 145ish lbs?
I'm 19, started at 145 and aiming for somewhere around the 110-115 lb mark. There's lots of people on MFP who started at a lot higher and have goals of 50+ pounds to lose, even 100 lbs. I was just hoping to find some more fellow girls who are looking/started at lower weights that I can relate too a little better :) So if…

Anyone else already thinking about next year's bikini body?
Hi guys, looking for young women like myself who perhaps don't have too much weight to lose but want to reach their perfect body (as "perfect" as they can be at least) by next summer. So at the moment I'd say I'm what they call "skinny fat" (?) but on the bigger side. Haha. As in, with clothes on I look sort of slim-ish…

Anyone else worried about their decreasing wardrobe?
Don't get me wrong, I'd rather reach my goal weight and live in the same 3 outfits bought off ebay than stay fat and wear all my old stuff. BUT I'm a student, 19 and don't have much money to buy new clothes. My tops are fine, but bottoms-wise…all my jeans are starting to be too baggy around the waist. Everything still fits…

My goal is getting lower as I'm losing weight…
Originally, it was 9 and a half stone goal, then 9 stone, then 8 and a half stone…and I know when I reach that weight I'll move it down again. Is this…normal? Or does that count as getting a little obsessive.

Any good low-calorie "pizza" recipes?
Particularly recipes perhaps made with tortilla wraps or something instead of dough bases? And how do you cook the vegetables that I might put on a pizza? Do you boil them or oven cook them separately a little first or let the oven cook them on the pizza? Things like broccoli, peppers, spinach, onions.

Any other 5 foot 3 (or around) girls losing weight?
Hi, I've finally began to lose some weight after realising I did not forever want to be "that slightly big friend". I was not fat, but my highest weight was 145 lbs and you could see the extra fat and rolls forming. They say two people of the same weight and height don't look the same, which is very true. That said, I…
