Long shot but anyone in Grays, Essex fancy a walking/jogging buddy?
I just started the Couch to 5K yesterday and was wondering if anyone else was doing this in my area? It wasn't a great first attempt (managed 4/8 of the runs) so will be repeating weeks. Please jot me a note if of interest x

Anyone starting C25K? I couldn't even manage the 1st one!! :(
Made the hubby come with me on the first one as long as he promised not to laugh.. yes!..I am honestly that unfit. I couldn't do all of the 8 60 second runs but managed half and walked the rest of the podcast. Anyone else as unfit as me? Please tell me it gets easier xx Feel free to add me if you're as rubbish as me

My FIRST EVER weight loss status!! SO PROUD :)
I first signed up to MFP in February 2013 and have been awful at logging my food. I have a really good run for a little while and then just seem to tail off. So as you can imagine I had put on a few pounds rather than losing any! I am really hoping today marks a turning point.. I haven't been logging recently but trying to…

Hi, anyone from Essex? Any fellow teachers too?
Hi all, Over the last few years I have gotten very, very comfortable and just love chocolate! I can eat 4 ripples and other snacks in one sitting.....terrible!! I am extremely serious about now watching what I eat and would love to support and be supported by people in my area (due to time zones etc). I love friends from…

Has this worked for you????
Hi, So I looked at this site last year. I started off well but like most things I gave up. However, I quit 6 weeks ago with no replacements and did this brilliantly. I miss it, but I've done it!! This just shows that I can make decisions and stick to them... So i'm back, to give this weight management a better go. I'm…

Anybody from Essex, UK
Hi there! Was just looking for people in this area too. Have friended lots of people from America but there doesn't seem to be as many UK users? Feel free to add me. Would be nice to have friends in the same time zone too :-)

2nd day and already finding it addictive!!
So this is my second day of logging on and tracking my food. The best thing so far I think is definitely the thinking about my calorie intake. After logging everything from today so far I can see what I need to cut out later in the day. I think my weakness is definitely going to be the exercise - but if I have more friends…

Newbie! Too many chins!!! Need some encouraging friends :-)
As a 32 year old mum of 3 who works as a full time teacher, fitting in exercise and marking is a bit tricky, especially with everything else too. I definitely do not eat great!! (see previous post about a fry up). At work, I just eat the easiest thing I can but it's never too bad. It's the evening meal I find the hardest,…

Started my journey today - ruined it with a fried brunch!!
So glad I joined this. I really don't think about what I'm eating and once I entered my breakfast/lunch for today was shocked that I had consumed over 800 calories in one sitting. Add that to my cups of tea and coffee (with 2 sugars) I'm not off to a great start. However, it has made me think about how I can reduce my…

Want to look good in my wedding dress!!
My aim is to lose at least 14 lbs before our wedding in August. I have my dress already ordered and it's all booked... so definitely need to make a good go of this. I have set myself a goal and have limited myself to 1200 calories a day with a little extra if I can fit in the exercise! Anybody else dieting for their…
