My FIRST EVER weight loss status!! SO PROUD :)

I first signed up to MFP in February 2013 and have been awful at logging my food. I have a really good run for a little while and then just seem to tail off. So as you can imagine I had put on a few pounds rather than losing any! I am really hoping today marks a turning point.. I haven't been logging recently but trying to eat a little less (CHOCOLATE IS MY ENEMY!!). I decided to get back to logging today so just weighed myself and am now 5lbs lighter than when I first signed up (HAPPY!!!!). I love seeing all these success stories and I'm hoping this is the start of my own steady journey xxxx

    There is truly something to be said for getting into, "the groove" of weight loss. Once you're in there, just keep on going and before you know it you as well will hit your goal. It is great to hear someone not ashamed to say they are, "proud." Celebrate each success, because that is you!

    Good for you! Remember that every day this is a choice you have to make, and after a while you do hit a groove and it becomes very reflexive and natural! If you ever despair or get frustrated, take a few steps back and simplify the situation and move forward again!

    And you sooooooo don't need to make chocolate your enemy! Try switching to dark chocolate and really savour it. I eat chocolate every single night otherwise I'd go bananas! Lol

    I know the feeling. Chocolate is a hard one to say no to.

    Great job on the weight loss! I just recently started logging again as well (last week actually) after being gone for almost 2 years. I lost a lot of weight originally on here, so I'm not sure why I left in the first place.

    Congrats again! Keep up the good work, and good luck with the rest of your journey!
