I would like to be more precise on how many calories I burn during workouts and walks. thinking a monitor of some type will be helpful - something simple and inexpensive. Any preferences or suggestions on what to look for? what brand? ...

why is 1200 cal/day too low?
I am 39 years old. I weigh 143lbs. My goal weight is 123 lbs. To be honest, I'm not sure if that is a realistic or healthy goal weight - I have not consulted a doctor about it.
