Sorry if this has been posted many times, But I've heard it's important for people lifting weights and strength training to take rest days, but does the same apply to cardio?

I recently broke my hand, but am not letting that hold me back from exercising. :) My question is, other than push ups, is there a lot of workouts on there that require you to put weight on your hands or wrists? I don't want to start it and get upset because I can't do most of what she's wanting. Thank you. :)

Help with love handles.
