Sorry if this has been posted many times,
But I've heard it's important for people lifting weights and strength training to take rest days, but does the same apply to cardio?

Yes. But not so much. People who are training for marathons often run five days a week.0

I'd say one or two days of rest (at least rest from your normal workout, you can take a walk or do easy things) per week are really good for your body! I usually take one, but I can go cycling or walking during that day.
To motivate you, I found out (by weighting myself daily and drawing a chart) that I usually see my weight drop more after a rest day (probably water retension when I exercise though).0 -
Good question...I just asked my husband last night and he said he wouldn't!0
