The pronoun problem
I have a lot of trouble with the use of "he" in reference to my HP. This tiny piece of OA has made it harder for me to follow the steps. Does anyone else feel this way? My HP is mystery, not male or female. Why not use the term Higher Power and leave the pronouns out? Is it because the wording of the steps is unchangeable?

any older folks want to be friends?
I'm over 50 and would love to have a few OA pals on MFP in my age range. Anyone? It's easier when you can see the thoughts and struggles of others and share your own.

Any food with no sugar?
Started using myfitnesspal yesterday and have already discovered my sugar # is too high by the end of the day. I don't eat sweets, but fruits seem to have lots of sugar. Everything else I've tried seems to have some sugar in it, too. Is there any food with 0 sugar, other than artificial stuff (I'm vegan).

abdominal crunches, etc.
I've tried to figure out how to log my morning ab workout, but the exercise under strength training doesn't use any calories and the cardio doesn't offer a general core option. I don't like using the numbers for weights. What's a conscientious person to do?
