I have decided to stop counting calories, eating only as my body REQUIRES food, not necessarily when I feel just a twinge of hunger or whatever during the day. I'm new to veganism and I'm having a hard time finding lean protein sources!! What are some good low-fat, high-protein foods? All I can find are various forms of soy. And any other vegans that have had any success at buidling muscle please let me know how you did it! haha

If I don't eat wayyy over my daily allotted calories I always wake up at around 1-3am feeling starved. No matter what I eat I always wake up at that time! I've been on about a 1200 calorie diet.
