I have been struggeling with health and weight loss isues for as long as I can remember. I have been on this site for over a year and have been trying to go it alone. Possibly some friends might make things easier, I am 48 year old male with 50 pounds to loose. Add me as a friend so we can help each other.

Try Again
So I am giving this another try. I will be more dedicated this time around. I need to loose about 50 lbs. for health reasons. I am 48, male from Maryland. I need to exercise most days. I like walking. Maybe jogging. Swimming. And I am trying P90X. Last night was my first P90X. I did about half of the routine.

Just do something
I have a really crazy schedule that makes it hard for me to dedicate myself to any one exercise program. So what is important for me is to just do something. Every day.

Garbonzo Beans
I'm 47 years old and never ate a garbonzo bean. Something about the name I think. Then someone told me they were also called chick peas, so I tried some. Mm mm good. Now I eat them every day. Does anyone have any easy chick pea recipes? What about a food that you want eat because of the name?

Swimming
Any swimmers out there? I started swimming laps in January. One to three times a week. Yesterday I swam a mile for the first time. It took me 45 minutes.

First Day
I made it through the first day and stayed within my calories. Felt hungry last night.

I have eaten all my calories for the day and I,m hungry. I guess I'll go to bed early. If I'm sleeping I cant eat. Hope this gets easier.
