He told me to work on building up my inner thigh muscles and to stop squatting :( My right kneecap can be pushed from side to side, doesn't follow straight down the track and sits more to the left.Its always make grinding/cracking sounds but lately Ive had pain and swelling..hence the Dr. Visit.. Lifting belts? Need or not?
Since my weights are starting to get heavier, I was wondering if I should be buying/wearing a lifting belt? Is it necessary? Do you wear one? Will I end up injured otherwise?

How deep do you or should you squat?
I've seen people squat so low that it looks like their butt is going to touch the ground and I know I can't get that low. Just if I happen to have to squat down, low, in daily life, my knees aren't happy about it. Is it necessary to squat that deep?

5x5 or NROL, which is better?
Hey ladies, I am a beginner and it was recommended I check out both 5x5 and NROL. I picked up the book the other day. Which one is more effective and which do you do?
