Which TDEE for me?
Do you all follow the TDEE given by MFP for your maintenance days? I feel that mine is very high. I weigh 161lb (after fasting twice in the week), am a teacher so am on my feet quite a bit, but do not exercise. The only time I exercise is when I have eaten (or plan to eat) too many cals and need to burn them off. I put my…

I have read about the 5:2 method, but what can you eat on your non fast days? How much exercise would you need to do and what kind? I was considering four days of 24 hr fasting (Monday to Friday)…

Advice on exercise and calorie intake
I am currently 35 years old, 167lb. I eat up to 1400 calories per day and exercise by walking 5mph on my treadmill for at least 40 minutes each day, sometimes I walk for 5 minutes then run for 1 minute, alternating for up to 45 minutes. I also try and do my Davina McCall interval training for 40 minutes once or twice per…

Need some advice urgently!
I used to have an intake of 1400 cals, would walk 30 mins per day at 5mph on the treadmill, twisting and arms swinging for maximum effect, usually being just under cals each day. This was not working, and so I figured that my body was getting used to what I was doing. So I decided to reduce cals to 1200, despite warning…

What am I burning?
If I exercise after a small breakfast, but burning far more calories (say if I eat 300 cals but burn 500 cals), am I burning last nights tea, or will I continue to burn for the next few hours or more? The reason I ask is because we always have a Chinese takeaway on a Friday night, and if I want to limit damage, I will burn…

Too much sugar... how harmful?
How harmful is it if you go over on your MFP sugar limit? My limit is 32g and I have gone over by 23g! I have done my exercise for the day (380 cal burn walking 5mph for 40 mins), but it only knocks off calories. How do I get rid of the excess sugar before it gets stored as fat and am I panicking over nothing?? I don't…

When will I see results?
Hi, I have been eating a normal diet, but reducing my calorie intake significantly and exercising by walking 5mph on the treadmill for at least 40 mins per day, in the morning, sometimes up to an hour. If I eat over my calorie intake I exercise more to compensate. I started to follow my plan of 1200 calories per day but…
