Getting my UP tomorrow, any tips?
Hey everyone, I'm Missy and getting back on track after a year plus of being all dieted out. My Jawbone UP is on its way and I should get it tomorrow so I'm looking for any tips, tricks, or suggestions you might have in terms of setting it up, how to wear it, what you like/dislike about it, etc. Thanks!!

What's the best rowing machine under $1000?
Looking for opinions from those who have rowing machines and their opinions on the various models they've used. I'm getting my annual bonus next week and will likely (finally) be able to afford a rower in the sub $1k price range. Not to be rude but please do not post links to online reviews or respond if you have not…

Concept 2 Rowers & Wood Floors
I just ordered the Concept 2 Model D indoor rower for my home today and was wondering..... has anyone used one of these on hardwood floors? Would you recommend a mat to put under it? Or is it unnecessary? Thanks!

Reduced Carb Lasagna with Cheese AND Noodles :-p~
This is hands down my favorite lasagna recipe and it's straight off the back of the Dreamfields Pasta box. The only changes I've made is to use all ground beef and omit the sausage (because I don't personally like it) and I don't usually add the mushrooms because they don't add any flavor. Traditional Lasagna Serves 12…

Collard Greens Recipes Anyone?
Please post your best recipes for collard greens. I got some in my veggie box this week and have no clue what to do with them. I've only ever had them once or twice while living in Florida and wasn't crazy about the way they were cooked so I'm looking for really flavorful or creative ways of making them bearable since…

Can you use a Foreman Grill to make Paninis?
I'm very excited today to be receiving my first of eight weekly veggie boxes from a local co-op and they sent this really great email with recipe ideas to use along with the fresh produce but one of the recipes is for a Panini and I don't need any more kitchen gadgets (my lazy susan just can't handle it) so I was…

Need BBQ Rib Recipes for Tonight (6/25)
I have a rack of pork spare ribs that I intend on cooking tonight. I want to BBQ them but I have no clue how. I looked up recipes online and most of them say to cook in the oven for hours the day before - I'm not doing that PERIOD end of story. If I wanted to cook something for hours I'd put it in my crock pot. So…

Do you Prancercise?
This morning my husband sent me the following link to an article about Prancercise... As a fan of My Little Pony, I can honestly say that I love the idea of dying my hair pink and getting balloons tattooed on my "flank" but dancing around on the walking path in my local park? I'm not so sure. You be the judge... serious…

How often do your measure?
I'm coming up on my first full week on my new MFP account and was wondering how often others take their measurements. Previously I avoided the measuring tape unless I knew I was losing enough to log a big difference but this time I want to really have a good visual of my progress so I've taken to weighing in daily (knowing…

HRM Suggestions Needed
I'd like to buy a decent quality starter HRM to help me get better in tune with my body and workouts but there is SO much information out there between the MFP forums, reviews on sites like Amazon/REI, etc. that I have no clue which HRM's are actually good (lasting) quality and which ones are duds. I'd like to spend $75 or…

Restarting with 124 lbs to lose
Hi there, I'm restarting MFP with 124 lbs to lose. Last year I went on a "doctor supervised' weight loss program and lost 60 lbs in 6 months... at which point the staff was unable to help me find a path to continue using their program without being bored so I stopped going and after a few months on my own I also stopped…
