Concept 2 Rowers & Wood Floors

I just ordered the Concept 2 Model D indoor rower for my home today and was wondering..... has anyone used one of these on hardwood floors? Would you recommend a mat to put under it? Or is it unnecessary? Thanks!

    It will slide on the floor. I use a mat and brace it (it still slides on the mat without bracing). If you care about your floors, you'll need to do something.

    I care enough to not want to have to pay any extra when they get refinished, sure. Thanks for the tip!
