162 lbs...size nine jeans? What gives?
Im 5 foot 5. I now weigh 162 lbs. I wear a size nine jeans and dont look fat by any means, Most of my weight gain is in my tummy and back and still not very noticeable unless I sit down. I used to be 135 or 140. Im now 33 so I know my metablosim has changed but no matter what I do my body doesnt want to get any smaller.

3500 calories to lose a pound
Ok, please explain. I need to burn 3500 calories to lose a pound in a week. That is done with lowering calorie intake and exercize. What I would like to know is how to see how many I have burned for the week. Is there something on here that shows how far we have to go to meet our weekly goal?

Quick question. I have been working out almost daily for two weeks. Mainly doing kettlebell workouts. I have lost 1.5 inches in my hips, lost on .5 inches on my stomach, gained .5 inch on my thigh, and gained .5 inch on my bicep. What gives? Im assuming muscle but gaining inches? Is that normal. Eating back calories
Does everyone eat back their exercise calories? My goal is 1200 calories a day and I usually burn 300-500 calories a day from exercise. I do eat back most because I feel like under 1200 is bad. Also, do you guys count alcohol in your calories for the day? I do because even though its empty calories..its still calories.

I have been doing about a 35 minute kettlebell workout 4-5 times a week. I sweat like crazy and know that my heart rate is up there during the workout.
