completed my first half marathon today :)
in 2hrs and 5mins, and i got tendonitis behind my left knee at the 8km mark, so had to stop running when the pain became excruciating, only for 30-60secs just until the pain subsided, then off i went again, pretty happy with my time

at my heaviest, dec 2011 93.7kgs. tight size 18 end of feb, the start of my weightloss journey, same weight as above today 20kgs lighter size 12 my original goal was to get to 75kgs, i've just passed that, and i aim to lose another 5kgs by xmas, wish me luck :)

I needed a new pair of shorts, i prchased a smaller pair last week, fitted a size 14 nicely, but one pair wasn't enough, so i wnt back a got another pair, and i decided to try on a size 12, and they fitted woohooo!!! i haven't purchased size 12 clothes for 14 years, i'm so proud of myself, i'm 1kg off my original goal, but…

I entered a walk/run today and choose to run 9kms, i have been running 5kms' for the past 7weeks, so 9kms was a first, and i did it!!!i ran the 9km's with my 9yr old son in exactly 1hr, then did a 32km bike ride afterwards. I think i'm gonna pay for it tomoorow, but hey what a calorie burn. :-)

yay i did it!
Ran 5km's in 30 mins today without stopping, took my 9yr old son with me, i was totally surprised that we both managed to complete the run without stopping.
