My first 10k - help!
Hey everyone. So I plan to sign up for my first 10k which takes place on the 8th of May (subject to me getting the day off work because it is on a Wednesday evening). I'm a reasonably newbie runner, completed couch to 5k in September and doing my best 5k in 31.50 (hoorah!). However, since then, I've not been out nearly us…

So I did it! What now?
Hey everyone! So I completed C25k tonight, woop! I have been doing it in time rather than distance, but I decided I would go the whole 5k tonight. I did this is 32 mins 33 seconds, which I am very happy about. I have an official 5k on the 30th September, and I wanted some advise on how to improve my time. Do I just keep…

Hit my target! (with pics)
Hey folks! So on Christmas day, I hit my target of being under 10 stone. Yay! My starting weight was 15stone, as of November 2009. Help with losing body fat / gaining definition
Hi guys, I wondered if you could offer me some advice. I have recently hit my target, so now weigh 138 lbs (I am 5ft 4). I am happy in terms of weight lost and last week upped my calories to maintenance level (1680), which seems to be going ok. But I have just measured my body fat percentage, for the first time ever, and…

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. As part of a kettlercise class I do, we do 7 floor exercises. Some of them you have to either have your legs up straight in the air or in a sort of scissor kick type movement. However, I really struggle to hold my legs up straight for any length of time, or very…

Scale rage!
It's weigh in days like today that really annoy me. Fair enough I've not done exercise all week but how can i eat an average of 1400 calories a day and still put on 1.4 lbs? If my 'maintain' calorie count is 1780 (I think), how does less than that turn in to a gain? Confused. *sigh*

Just thought I'd say hi eventually
HI, I'm Lorna and I've been using the site for a while now, however I don't often post and thought I'd do a wee introduce myself bit. I'm 28 years old, Scottish, 5ft 3in and 152.5lbs as of last weekend. I started my weight loss journey in November 2009, after a visit to the nurse, who told me she wouldn't give me my normal…
