Goal Achieved: 41lb lost in 2020
Background 7 years ago today, I stepped into MFP for the first time. I was about 6 weeks into my first big weight loss attempt, hoping to lose 98lb and I mostly got there. I lost about 80% of what I set out to lose in around 15 months before falling off the wagon. I wrote a long-ish blog post about it here. TL:DR: I…

Losing Weight and Running
Hi guys, I have a question about losing weight whilst not compromising any running gainz. A little bit of background first - I lost 78lb with MFP about two years ago, and was 20lb shy of my goal. NSV: I can jog?! (also- bonus stairs...)
Not sure if this belongs in Success Stories, or Fitness or in Motivation, but it surprised me today, so I'm posting it in Successes. A little bit of background, so you can appreciate the "whoah!" I've always been short and fat, but am taking it one day at a time. Walking has been my mainstay so far. Weekdays have comprised…

First NSV
Almost 6 weeks in, and I've had my first NSV! I'm sitting in the office now wearing a pair of trousers I bought over 4 years ago and couldn't get into. (I'm a fool for not trying them on in the store...) And they're comfy and not pinching at all. I've a long way to go, but I'm feeling so happy right now!
