Post-Workout - Craving Milk

So, I've started swimming again (finally!), and I've found that (as before) I'm really craving fresh milk after a good long session. I don't drink it much (can't stand the taste on its own normally), but it really hits the spot, post-workout.

Am happy to indulge the craving, but am curious to know why. Any ideas?

I also crave bananas, but figure that's my body wanting extra potassium.
