*Dusting off the 17DD Group*
Anyone still here and want to revive this dead group? I'm thinking of restarting after a failed attempt and would love some guidance/support. Seems a better idea to revive a dead group than create another one just to have it die. Going to post the same on the other 17DD group and see if there are any takers.…

Hair?
So, I thought this group might be a good place to look for help. Since losing weight, though more likely because I'm older, my hair has become annoying and dry and just icky. I had beautiful, shiny hair when I was in my 20s and I miss it. I've had some luck with a leave-in tea tree conditioner, but not enough that I can…

General Tips
So, my greatest lesson in adding veg was how easy and cheap frozen veggies can be. I am now never without a frozen bag of spinach, kale or collard greens to add to pasta sauce, eggs or soup. And I'm working on the whole "salad in a jar" phenomenon (though I really need to find new jars that don't rust on the top). I hate…

UP24 more stable than UP?
I'm on my fifth UP in 2 years. I love it, and they're really good at replacing it when it stops working (through no fault of my own, I don't even shower with it on), but I've really had my heart set on the UP24. Has anyone noticed that the UP24 is less likely to die? My hope was that it might be stronger since they've had…

Decent Audiobooks for Car Trip with Young Kids?
Posting it here rather than at a parenting group because I want a geeky book, and have found some awesome recommendations here for myself in the past. I'm not worried about things going over their heads (6 and 4), but more about inappropriateness and interest. I was originally thinking The Girl Who Circumnavigated…

Food Score from MFP?
I noticed a couple days ago this new feature (forgive me if it's been there awhile and I hadn't noticed it) where the food I ate was synced to UP from MFP and then given a score, including an overall score for the day. But yesterday and today the food continued to sync but without the food score. Since I really liked the…

The Doctor read me stories...
My son is really into How to Train Your Dragon. After checking out the rating for the books on commonsensemedia.org (awesome site), I downloaded the books...which are read by David Tennant. I let him listen and then downloaded two more, which we listened to on a road trip this week. They are AMAZING! Not only are the books…

Daleks vs. the new iPhone
There's a new advertisement up in the Metro for an AT&T iPhone plan, with the colored iPhones. And every time I see it all I can think of is the four brightly colored Daleks. I keep expecting to hear the TARDIS arriving.

Running technical shirts?
Okay, I'm usually really good at the interwebs. But I can't seem to find what I want here. I really really want a geeky technical shirt for races. Like this wonderful "Companion Training Program" shirt that was handmade: http://iliketodocraftythings.blogspot.com/2013/05/friday-musings-35-nike-womens-half-recap.html Anyone…

Does anyone have a go-to meal plan?
I do best when I plan out a week in advance, but I've been having a difficult time with that lately. I can't do a lot of acidic foods, so I had to get rid of spaghetti night, I can't do spicy, and I find tacos boring without it and chili and beans with rice. (I miss my hot sauce sooo much!) Does anyone have a meal plan…

WebMD recommendations seem CRAZY
I enjoy reading some WebMD articles, and then came across this: http://www.webmd.com/diet/calc-bmi-plus. When I put in my info it told me I wanted to have a calorie goal of 938. I admit I'm already close to 1200, with 1270 being my goal daily, but I was shocked. I thought, even including exercise, it was a bad idea to go…

Running to lose...
After reading The "I" Diet, and from my own experience, I understand that it's really more diet that makes you lose weight. I changed my diet without exercising and lost 15 lbs, but I ran a marathon, training with about 30 miles per week, and I put on 10. My legs looked great, but that was it.

Update to MapMyRun and UP syncing issues?
Heya! Anyone update the MapMyRun app and lose syncing with UP? I'd love to know how to fix this issue.
