Calorie change with weight change
Ok, this might sound like a stupid question but does your calories change when you lose weight? I followed weightwatchers until I reached my goal then swapped over to MFP so know my points on that went down as I lost weight. I just happened to be messing around with my 'goal' of how much I want to lose each week and my…

New - Sell it to me!!
Ok so at the moment I do minimum of 3 workouts per week which consist of 5k on the bike to warm up followed by a strength workout. I aim to run on the 2 days I don't workout (only do about 2 miles) but this doesn't always happen. There is the occasional minimum 7 mile bike run when the weather is nice too. I also walk…

Strength training - most effective way?
At the moment I do strength training 3 times per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and I tend to do a full body workout after either 5k on the bike or a 2 mile run to warm up. I would like to start working more on specific areas - so spending the same amount of time working out but maybe split them into upper body and lower…

Increasing water intake
I've made a big effort to increase my water intake this week and have upped it by at least a litre per day. I feel really bloated though and am wondering roughly how long it takes your body to get used to the extra fluid and not hold on to it?

Healthy Fats
I read about peanut butter being a good healthy fat that helps keep you full for longer so I tried some with my breakfast this morning (I had weetabix with banana and a spoonful of peanut butter) and must admit I didn't start to feel hungry until about 12. Usually I'm starving by 11am. Is there anything else I can have…

Protein shakes
Can anyone tell me if protein shakes keep you full or are they pointless? Also, is it pointless to have them on days you don't work out?

Jillian Michaels workouts
I have a few of Jillian Michaels' DVDs and am planning to start them again soon. Haven't decided which one yet though. My question is...are you meant to do them every day? I know usually it's recommended to workout on alternate days, so does that apply for the likes of the 30 day shred? I know lots of people who do it…

Workout help
Is there anywhere where I can get an example workout for the gym? Or to do weights/strength training at home with dumbbells? I was thinking of doing 3 days weights/strength and 2 days cardio? I go to a small gym where there isn't much weight equipment - there are weights etc but not many machines so I wondered if there's…

Snack help
I'm looking for ideas for healthier snacks. Our meals are usually cooked from scratch, and can be anything from stew and potatoes to chicken with Parma ham etc. I make most things in the slow cooker but do sometimes cook them at the time (spag Bol etc). So we don't really eat processed foods (we used to eat loads of things…

Have I been eating too little?
I've been following weight watchers for 7 months and have lost 34lb. However, my weight really started to slow down, with me sometimes not losing anything at all, or even putting on, when I'd been good and stuck to my points. I've just started using MFP so thought I'd put what I eat through my weight watchers app too and…

What to set my goal as?
I currently have about 14lb to lose until 'my' goal weight. I will then see from there if I feel I need to lose more, but at the moment that is my goal. I currently have my MFP goal set at 1lb per week - is this right?

Cardio or strength?
I've always thought, and believed, I needed to do cardio in order to lose weight. But, I've since been reading that strength work is probably more effective for what I need/want to do. I'm currently about 150lb with about 14lb to go until goal, and have lost 34lb so far. I'm happy with how I look apart from my stomach - I…

Cookbook
Are there any cookbooks that state the number of calories with the recipes? I'm pretty lazy so this would be great if I knew how many calories were in the recipe before I make it?! I also like to be able to plan ahead so would be handy.

New and totally confused!
Hi everyone! I'm new here! I've been doing weight watchers for the last 7 months and have lost about 34lb so far. However, I'm now more interested in losing inches than what the scale says so am thinking of giving up weight watchers (as I feel it will be disheartening if I don't lose each week even though I may have lost…

How to exercise correctly?
I've been on weight watchers since March and have lost nearly 2.5 stone with about a stone to go until I'm within healthy BMI weight. I've recently started exercising more (in the last fortnight) and have noticed my weight has gone up about 1lb or so - is this normal? I've been doing the 30 day shred 4 times per week and…
