Snack help

I'm looking for ideas for healthier snacks. Our meals are usually cooked from scratch, and can be anything from stew and potatoes to chicken with Parma ham etc. I make most things in the slow cooker but do sometimes cook them at the time (spag Bol etc). So we don't really eat processed foods (we used to eat loads of things like pizza and frozen things like chicken in pastry etc) and know exactly what is going into each meal. I'm going to start looking at some other recipes though as we tend to have potatoes a lot and would like to have more rice instead.
The thing I struggle with is snacks - I will usually just reach for a pack of mini cheddars/crisps or sometimes even chocolate if my calories allow it (but means I will go over on sugar intake) so need to find some healthier options. I eat quite a bit of fruit and veg but think I need to find more filling things. I need things that I can just have to hand and eat, but I have no idea what!
Any ideas??

My usual snacks are things like light string cheese, small packs of nuts, sugar free jello or pudding cups, greek yogurts, bananas, and sometimes the special k cereal bars.0

There is nothing wrong with snacking on crisps or chocolate. And you have no need to track sugar unless you have a medical reason to do so.0

Hard boiled egg whites are great - easy, low calorie protein. Greek yogurt (just find one with low sugar).0

So this isn't a snack idea but... it is definitely worth making sure you are drinking enough water constantly.
Not a case of forgetting and quickly consuming a glass of water to try and up your water intake, instead making sure you are sipping constantly.
I have found since doing this that I rarely want to snack anymore.
This is definitely not something I would have said a few months ago when there would always be an open packet of biscuits in our office - tut tut!0 -

MFP sets it fairly low. Same with protein. I just changed mine to track different nutrients.0
