No one to run a 5k with!
I really want to sign up for a 5k to keep my more motivated with my training but i have no one to sign up with, is it sad to run your first race alone? I'm scared of embarrassing myself and dragging behind in dead last all by myself. It's frustrating having no one to share my fitness goals with to help support and motivate…

How do you stop calorie counting
I need help stopping, i can't go a day with out counting all my calories now. It started out a healthy and good little habit but now it's ruling my life. I promise myself some days that i will go a day without logging but i can't help myself. I'm so scared of not knowing exactly what's in what i'm eating and i don't know…

Suddenly can't stop eating
I've had this 'lifestyle change' for over a year now no problem, i've been eating clean and healthy and i found it easy right from the get go. But suddenly i have this overwhelming urge to eat everything sweet, chocolaty and carby in sight it's like my stomach is a bottomless pit. Don't get me wrong i had a day here or…

Too much oily fish
I've been told even though oily fish is great for you, you should have it no more than twice a week (i've had a fillet for dinner 3 nights in a row oops) i don't usually eat that much but i don't understand why it's bad to have it more often? I don't get much fat in my diet, usually about 20 grams a day. Lately i'm trying…

cycling vs walking
My workplace is only a 1.5 mile walk from me but i'm considering the idea of cycling just to half my travel time. But the thing i'm curious about is... Walking for 25 minutes or cycling the same distance in 12 minutes, would the calories burned be any different? which do you prefer too?

What is sedentary exactly
I'm trying to figure out all my BMR and TDEE figures but i'm having trouble distinguishing my activity level and get serious about maintaining my weight. I walk about 1.5 miles each way to get to college each day but once i get there i sit all day. I also jog 3-4 morning a week, i'm doing C25K as of now and i do various…

lots of carbs at dinner affecting my progress
Could this be possible. I am a renowned carb lover, I very rarely eat simple carbs though.. I usually have around 200g a day and they make up 50-55% of my macros but i eat most at dinner time. I've heard lots of people have no carbs past 5pm or no carbs past lunch rules. But I just can't feel full without my beloved…

Do you eat before a morning jog/run
I personally just get up, have a glass of water and a cup of green tea and then i'm out the door but i don't eat past 6pm at night so that's a good 12 hours of no food so i have no idea what's fueling me. I've heard both sides of the to eat or not to eat argument. What do you find works best for you?

dealing with constant put downs from people...
How do you deal with people constantly telling you what you're doing is 'obsessive' 'unhealthy' and 'weird?' (I used to have a very high bf % but now i've reached my goal i'm just trying to maintain it) I can deal with the snide comments i get at college about eating 'rabbit food' and being told i should just go eat a…

What's your view on pre-prepped and packed veg?
I know it's more expensive but it's so much more convenient for me and besides the problems such as chlorine and stuff like that, are the nutritional values any different? Like let's say if i buy a vegetable stir fry pack full of peppers and carrots and beansprouts etc...is it less healthy to eat that rather than buying…

What exactly are the 'toxins' lemon water flushes out?
(First off don't get me wrong, i drink this myself everyday haha) But anyhow, i see all these articles telling me that they flush out toxins from the body and whatnot but not a single article has said what these are. I've always assumed that the body does a pretty good job at doing this by it's self. It would just be…

What is the best way to start strength training
I really want to start strength training, i have very slight strength in my legs but i may as well have spaghetti arms, they're stupidly weak. Too much sugar from fruits
It seems on average i eat around 70-90 grams of sugar a day but around 80% of this is just from fruit! This is the only category i go over on every single day and that little red number bugs the hell outta me. I don't even eat that much, i have about 4 portions a day but it's putting me double over my recommended…
