HRM question
I have a Polar HRM and after exercising it breaks down your heart rate, calories burned, and percentage of fat. What is the fat percentage, ie: 40% mean? Thank you!

Help setting calorie goals
I've lost 12 pounds so far and my calories for the day have dropped by 100. It really seems low for me considering my weight, activity level, etc. I do have a desk job but I am active otherwise constantly. My BMR is 1700, calories are 1350. Does that make sense? Also why does MFP have 55% on carbs, isn't that high? Protein…

Help please! Calories burned for 7% grade climb via cycling
Its 2000 feet, 7% grade and I'm not sure how long it will take me since the last time I did it was last summer. Any help is appreciated.

Can you get too much protein? What if you go above your recommended dose for the day on a daily basis? Thanks!

BMR versus your calorie intake allowed
What if your BMR is higher than your total calorie intake? How many calories should I consume the bmr or the calories allowed for the day? This is without exercising for the day. I know this has been hashed over time and time again, any response will be appreciated. J.

Taking a day off from exercise?
Really how important is it to take a day off from exercise? I push myself hard changing it up all the time. My legs, gluts are always sore. Could this affect weight loss?

THE COFFEE/CAFFEINE QUESTION
Does coffee have any effect on your metabolism in a negative way? I was told that coffee hinders weight loss. Any information on this will be much appreciated. I completely stopped coffee/caffeine but I truly love my java. Help please!

THere is a lot of info on here but I dont have the chance to go through every topic due to time. I just started yesterday. Today so far goal cal 1390, food eaten 380, exercise -778 = net of 398. What does "net" mean? Do I need to consume the calories I have excercised off? Thank you!
