No macadamia nuts for me.
First I had to give up dairy because it was giving me tummy issues. Now I can't have macadamia nuts because I can eat 1.5 lbs of them in less than a week and gain 3.5 lbs. :(

Up calories or am I a crazy person?
So, I've been eating at about 20 net carbs for almost the last three months. I lost about seven pounds initially and then stopped losing, which I was fine with. I should also mention that during this time I did not restrict or even count calories, just focused on the carbs. The family and I went on vacation, which included…

Stayed on track/beat the craving
Went to a birthday party yesterday and stayed on track. I ate some macadamia nuts and drank water. I didn't have even a lick of frosting or a taste from the chocolate fountain. At the end of the night, my son fell and cut his leg open bad enough to take him to the ER (because every Dr and clinic was closed for the…

Fasting
Yesterday I was starving and basically ate way over by 2 pm. I'm fine with that and I wasn't hungry for the rest of the night, which is what I had hoped would happen. This morning, I haven't had anything to eat except a couple tbsps of cream in my coffee. I was considering continuing on to see if I can make it until 2…

I know I am supposed to up the sodium intake. I've never been shy about salting my food. I added pickles when I felt the keto flu and any time I'm feeling off. I've been at this a month. I'm wondering if I should be adding more salt or if at this point it can be a 'to taste' sort of thing and I don't need extra salt as I'm…

Alzheimer's
I've been keto for the last month and feel pretty good. I've pretty easily lost some weight without really having to track my intake, which is pretty big for me, as I would like to be free from the years of yoyoing and tracking everything that goes in my mouth. I have an aunt who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's,…

Potassium?
I am not coming close to getting enough potassium. Should I supplement? Do you? Trying to figure this all out. I did low carb years ago and had a lot of success, but the carbs crept back in and my weight has gone up. I was younger then and didn't care about nutrition. Anyhow, I would love be any suggestions.

Broke my foot yesterday!
I've been working at this for the last three months. I exercise a lot and was losing really slowly in the beginning, but I think I was also gaining muscle from exercise and recently the weight really started coming off. But…yesterday I fell and broke my foot and I'm trying to figure out how to keep this going and not lose…
