Data analysis
Hi all I've been on MFP for the last 2 years with much success. I started at around 72kg at the beginning of 2014, and by the summer I was down to 63kg - which is the lowest weight I've ever been as an adult (I am 170cm tall). This was achieved through very honest logging on here, and a 5/6 day a week exercise routine with…

Shoulder cuff / rotator injury
Hello I've been successfully doing Stronglifts for a few months now and love it. I got a bit of a shoulder cuff injury back in May due to climbing - this went away within a week after I rested it by avoiding OHP. I then aggravated it again in July whilst trying to do pull ups. At this point the kids were finishing school…

An odd question for you ladies
An odd question perhaps, but has anyone else found it difficult to shave armpits properly since lifting? Where the armpit was flat when I put my arm up it now dips in like a cup. Although I'm liking this change I'm finding it hard to shave there properly. Does anyone have any tips?

Hit my goal weight today!
Hooray! Have hit my weight goal! 5 months and 22 days for 7kg loss. I never thought I'd get here, was always convinced that my body wanted to hang around the 70kg mark but here I am, at the same weight I was at 16! I have always exercised and eaten healthily but this year has been the first time that I've weighed and…

Have I been doing rows completely wrong?
Just been doing some reading and realised that what I thought of as bent over rows are actually Pendelay rows. I've been doing these for Stronglifts, but just found out that the bar is supposed to touch the floor after each rep. Is this strictly true? Should I continue with the way I've been doing it or deload and re-learn?

Squats: wobbly knees
So I'm now getting wobbly knees with my squats, particularly for the last couple of sets. One of the trainers at the gym gave me some advice, to focus on feeling the weight in the middle of my feet. This helped a bit but the wobbles came back again when I upped the weight yesterday. He also said that it might be caused by…

Hello there!
Hi I've been on MFP since the beginning of the year - mainly reading and not posting, therefore friendless :( Started Stronglifts 5x5 nearly 1 month ago now and loving it - even though I'm the only woman in the weights area. Getting stronger and fitter and far less bored now I'm not just doing cardio every day! I go to the…

Easter holidays
The kids will be off school soon for 2 weeks of Easter holidays. Now I normally go to the gym 5-7 days a week, and since the new year I've stopped doing non-stop cardio and instead I've been alternating with stronglifts 5x5 and other strength exercises. This alongside using MFP has been successful for me and I'm very…

Hello again!
Hi I posted this on the Stronglifts board but meant to post on the women's board (can't delete the other one), so apologies for repeating but here goes: I've been on MFP since the beginning of the year - mainly reading and not posting, therefore friendless :( Started Stronglifts 5x5 nearly 1 month ago now and loving it -…

Am I being impatient?
Hello... this is my first post, though I read the forums every day. I've been exercising regularly for 3 years - I'm 39. I'm in pretty good shape but would like to lose that last 5-8 kg of wobble. My diet has always been pretty good, meals from scratch etc and barely any processed food. I know my downfall is wine, and I've…
