Hi everyone, I just recently had my yearly physical. All my stats were good blood work wise, but I do need to lose weight and get in better physical condition. The main concern the doctor has was my lack of flexibility. (My ability to stretch is comparable to trying to bend a 2x4 board). Any good resources or references…

I was going thru the success threads and it seems like almost ALL the people who lost weight looked younger? I'm not talking the 5-10 lbs loss but the 40 lbs loss on up?

1200 calories??
I just signed up recently and setup my profile. I'm 5'8", 48 years old and weigh 218 (217 now) and selected sedentary since I have a desk job. It gave me a daily allowance of 1200 calories. I was just surprised by this a little bit, I thought 1200 was the lowest a person was to do? With my being 217 won't it then drop down…

Silly newbie exercise question
I am starting back to lose weight. A few years ago I went from 252 to 195 but I have gained back up to 217 and want to restart my weight loss. Hopefully hitting my goal weight this time. I tell you, I tend to feel cold when I diet. Really sucks in the wintertime. Anyone else have this issue?
