Fell off the Paleo Wagon
It started last weekend...with a bowl of cereal :'( But I have not given up. I will start at the beginning and move forward. I must say - although the processed foods I ate tasted good, I could immediately tell a difference in the way I felt. I was sick to my stomach & irritable. So why did I stay on this destructive path…

Am I getting enough calories
I have found that eating paleo has helped significantly (most days) decrease my calorie intake. Some days I do okay and get around 1100 but other days I only get around 900. Most of my calories come from meats or foods rich in protein. I am concerned that if I do not eat enough calories it will stall my weight loss. I just…

What can I drink?
I am just starting my new Primal / Paleo lifestyle. I am starting out slowly by giving up processed foods, then dairy but I do have a few areas to overcome (late night eating)...but other than that, it is going well. My question is what can I drink? Typically I would add crystal light drops to my water...but I can not have…

Restrict calories ???
My doctor told me not to restrict my calories but instead restrict my carbs. I do not have any health problems (unless you consider being over weight...and then there is my mental health that is questionable... ) Anyway, I do not have any major health concerns, my blood pressure & cholesterol are great. Yesterday I…

Food scale or Heart Rate Monitor
Which would be more beneficial a food scale or heart rate monitor? I measure my food & my hubby is a butcher, so he measures the meat that I eat, so I think i am logging accurate information. As far as calories burned...I am just going by the online / MFP calculator, so it is a generic guest-i-mate.

Steps
I have a 6 inch step stool that I do steps on but MFP tracker only has a listing for step aerobics, which I am assuming is higher intensity...but can anyone tell me the difference between the two, or how to correctly log "stepping" without aerobics?

Why am I gaining weight
I lost 60 lbs between Aug 2012 - Aug 2013 but cutting calories and working out a few times a week. I had not really lost any weight between August 2013 & March of this year but I did not gain any either. In March my doctor prescribed Prozac and almost immediately I started gaining weight. I gained 15 lbs between 3/24/14…

40 lbs lost with pics
I started my weight loss journey in August 2012. I began with little things like giving up soda & sweet tea. Then I began incorporating fruits and veggies into every meal & snack and I only drank water. From August 2012 to August 2013 I lost 60 lbs. I have gained back nearly 20 lbs, which I blame on a new medication and…

Low Carbs - Not enough Calories
I have lost 60 lbs. eating healthy and exercising...but I still have about 60 lbs to go. I have been staying between 1200-1500 calories (weekends tend to be cheat days)...Recently my depression / anxiety medicine changed and my doctor prescribed Prozac & Ativan. I have gained 12 lbs in less than a month. I am not blaming…

Diet Supplements??
Let me start by saying that I am NOT looking for a magic pill. I have lost 60 lbs the good old fashion way of healthy eating and exercising. With that being said I was recently put on a new medication that made me gain quite a bit of weight. I know it was not the medicine itself that made me gain the weight but it changed…

Depression
I don't even know where to begin. I guess, from the beginning… I started my journey in August 2012 and I had lost 60 lbs. For the last 4 years I have taken a combination of Celexa & Welbutrin but it seemed to lose its effectiveness over the last year. I was able to lose weight while taking the combination of both. But, In…

Iron Defficiency
I have felt tired for years....so long that I can not remember not being tired. I have learned to deal with it. I began my journey to a healthy life in August of 2012 and I have lost 60 lbs. I eat healthy (at least 4 servings of vegetables a day)...no sugar, no sodas etc. When I gave up caffeine I didn't know how I would…

60lbs down
I started my journey in August 2012. I lost 60 lbs in the first year. Then I hit a plateau. In the last month I have started losing weight again (9 lbs) Yay Me! I took baby steps, 1st I cut out all soda & tea, next I added vegetables to my diet, then I started counting calories. In January 2013 I joined a gym and in July I…
