Exercises post-injury
I recently had a nasty fall downstairs at home & ended up with bruises galore & a badly sprained ankle. Obviously due to being less mobile I've put some weight back on - a few days before my fall I was 1/2 lb off losing a stone since I started slimming world in January! I'm currently on a break from slimming world due to…

Exercise putting weight on instead of helping to lose it
I have been attending Slimming World since 7 January. In that time I've lost 13 1/2 lb. I just wonder what everyone's thoughts are on exercise? I've started doing some exercise this week (30 mins on a mini exercise bike, "Russian" twists with an 8kg medicine ball, occasional squats & always trying to run up my stairs at…

Combating sugar cravings
Sugar seems to be my worst enemy, I have such a sweet tooth. How can I curb/combat this? I don't each much fruit - I do like strawberries, peach & mango but don't eat them regularly enough I.e. they're not a daily addition to my diet, I tend to eat them when I feel like it. I equally don't eat vegetables other than…

How effective...
How effective would a minimum of 10 squats a day (starting point so potentially more) + 30 mins on a mini exercise bike be? I'm looking to lose weight and reduce the size of my tummy, hips, bum & thighs.

Swollen ankles
I am relatively new to exercise and am really trying to do as much as I can at home only as I can't afford a gym membership, have childcare issues & lack self-confidence! I performed 30 mins on Wii fitness followedby 15 mins of my fitness coach. Today, nearly 24 hours later I've returned from my choir rehearsal (standing…

Mini exercise bike
I have a mini exercise bike that I bought from Argos. It counts repetitions, time spent on the bike and calories. I wonder if 30 minutes a day on this is suitable for weight loss, certainly a starting point anyway as I realise this may not be quite enough on it's own. Thanks

Mini exercise bike workout
http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/9102727.htm This is the mini exercise bike I have (hopefully you can see it). It counts calories, reps & time. Does anyone know how much a week I would have to use something like this to give me effective weight loss.

How to stay motivated
I've been trying to lose weight now on & off for a number of years. I've recently stopped tracking my calories for various reasons but have been noticing some issues lately. My knees have started to become painful for one thing - I'm only 30! I don't obviously want to wait for any kind of wake up call but I should really…

Exercise DVD's
Hi all, I'm trying to lose some weight but don't find it so easy to get out and do exercise due to being with my young son most of the time so I'm looking for things to do in the house. Can anyone recommend any good exercise dvd's? I need something that is going to keep my attention - I have a Davina dvd but don't…

Some ideas required
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I could do with losing some weight and am currently keeping a food diary of what I've eaten to count calories. I do a little bit of exercise - walking to and from my car into work and using the stairs as I can at work. I work in a 3-storey building but, due to the nature of my work, I'm not…

Vegetable ideas
I'm not much of a lover of fruit or veg but would be very grateful of some ideas of how to disguise the taste of things, how best to cook veg and generally some ideas on how to incorporate more fruit and veg into my diet. Thanks xx

Fussy eater
Hi all, I'm new to the board. I have been half trying to lose weight or maintain my weight for quite some time now and it just always yo-yo's. I don't really do much in the way of exercise - I walk to and from my car into work every day, which is a journey of 5 minutes (so 10 minutes in total) and have to climb 3 flights…
