Salt Advice - Food Labeling
I have just eaten a salad which said it had 28.3% of my RDA (1.72g) of salt as part of its nutrition banner But the same label in the more detailed info there is a RDA guideline chart, which says the generic RDA is just 2.4g So surely that means I've just eaten 71.6% of my RDA of salt? I didn't know there were calories in sugar free Gum!!
How could I have been so blind! Wrigley's Extra Cool Breeze - 15kcals per pellet !! I assumed sugar free was calorie free - I've been eating a pack a day (152kcals) without thinking Oh the REMORSE! Please - someone - tell me I've got this all wrong. Are all gums filled with sneaky calories? Is there nothing 'safe'?
