Salt Advice - Food Labeling

I have just eaten a salad which said it had 28.3% of my RDA (1.72g) of salt as part of its nutrition banner
But the same label in the more detailed info there is a RDA guideline chart, which says the generic RDA is just 2.4g
So surely that means I've just eaten 71.6% of my RDA of salt?
Something isn't adding up, anyone any ideas?
I'd be surprised if a big supermarket chain would make such a big mistake
