Looking for friends! 20 lbs to loose :)
Hi my name is Allison, and I'm looking for friends on MFP! I've been on it for five days. I have used MFP in the past and had success loosing about 18 lbs several years ago when I was feeling flabby. I am feeling it again, and just had some major motivation -- someone at work asked me if I am "expecting" (I am not).…

Portobello & Asparagus salad
I was watching the Food Network this morning, and I saw Paula Deen make this dish. I ran out and got the ingredients, and it was so delicious I have to share it!!! You can add noodles to make it more of a meal, or have as a side salad. The spices and lemon juice really make this dish. Oh, and I broiled the veggies because…

6 weeks in + progress pics
I'm Allison, and I joined MFP on March 28th. I've lost 14 lbs, but so far I haven't really noticed a difference when I look in the mirror. And no one has noticed my (small) loss yet. But I feel healthier and am making better choices for myself, and I notice that my clothing fits better. I did not loose a pound last week,…

just sayin'
People cannot "eat healthy." They can eat a healthy meal, or they can eat healthily. Healthy is an adjective. Use it when describing people, places, or things. Healthily is an adverb. Use when describing actions.

Just weighed in. After going from 150 to 145 the 1st week, I did not change during week 2. The good news is that the scale didn't go up either. And I'm eating better and exercising. I hope that after this week I see a another change on the scale!
