Please help me be clear on TDEE and fitbit calories burned
So I posted last week about what the Fitbit calories burned came from. I understand that it is BMR plus calories burned from my activities. If using the 1-3 hours of activity on scooby I get the TDEE of 2285 which is what I have been shooting form either on or below for the last 4 months. I am 98% consistent on my…

Fitbit calories burned? MFP logging questions
I just got a new Fitbit flex Friday. I set up my stride and weight on it. I did not set up a food plan on it at this point. I log in MFP and set MFP to maintain, I also log excercise in MFP and did not sync the Fitbit to MFP. I wanted to see steps and calories burned. So yesterday the fitbit said I burned 2798 calories ,…

New phenomenon to me- RAVENOUS alot lately-is this what should be happening
I have posted before in the last year or more. I ate VERY low calorie and low carb for about 5 years. A year and a half ago I started this EM2LW and gained a lot of weight back and it wasn't coming off. So I did a quick diet, lost 20 lbs. It has been a long year for me, since I still was heavier than the weight I had been…

Food diaries please
I am struggling here with eating enough and keeping within macros. There are so many diaries I see where they use a lot of protein shakes and protein bars. I want to eat food and not use protein shakes. I really would like to see food diaries of people eating 2200-2400 a day without the use of those aids?? Anyone really…

preparing for cut, Can I add exercise or change it up???
I am getting close to cutting, and was thinking of adding some walks in a couple times a week and possibly increasing the time lifting to 40 minutes and not just 30. Will this affect me negatively as I start to cut?

Beginning week 9 feeling good...
So I was really bothered that my gain of 6 lbs in one day stayed for 2 weeks. So this last week I decided to drop back to the original TDEE I had started with, was able to hit the gym all three times and today I was 2.lbs less :) YAY EVEN with starting cycle today!! Usually that is a good 3-5 lb water gain to start off…

POO! Disappointed
Well I just remeasured since the my first week. This is the end of week 6. Nothing has change except my adbomen and waist have gone up .5. Same weight (although that is good I suppose) Here I am making sure I am lifting 3 days a week and I don't see any change. I see pictures of women by this time with some change. Me…

Worried a bit and somewhat confused now
I have been reading all the posts daily, and thought I was getting this right. I am not a numbers person and some of the fabulous detail that heybales says is a math story problem and I just don't get that. So I am worried because I am just past my 5th week of reset, doing fine. Realized I need to up calories more, haven't…

menu planning to hitt TDEE??
I am working on upping to my TDEE the last week and a half. What I find to be a huge challenge is menu planning to hit the TDEE and macros. How do you calculate for food out? Life is not always the same, so to have a nice variety of meals that everyone can eat but hit TDEE is really my issue. Logging on the weekends isn't…
