So, who's still here?
I feel really really bad. After getting the first week in, I fell off the wagon and started training for running. I let you all down. But, I'm back. I'm on week 2, day 5 today, as I'm writing this I've already done my Lower Focus, and am gearing up for Ab Intervals later today. I've been following the eating plan as well,…

Losses
Finally... All the hardwork for my first week of T25 finally showed up on the scale this morning. I've had plenty of NSV's (pants fitting looser, shirts fitting looser, etc), but I finally posted a decent loss after having gains all last week. Started at 210.8, went down to 210.2, then went up to as much as 211.8. Now, I'm…

Off Track
I feel is good to be accountable, and show those that get off track, like missing a day, not to give up! So, here's my admission. I missed yesterday's workout, Speed 1.0 (week 2, day 3) due to being EXTREMELY tired and having almost no sleep the night before. I'm sorry I have failed you all. But here's my commitment: I…

KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stout - Founders)
Picked up my first two 4-packs last night, or my fiancé did. I pick my two up tomorrow. Excited for this, except two of the four 4-packs are already given away, and 2 bottles out of the remaining 4-packs are also promised. Now, to search on release day, and get 1 more, possibly 2 more 4-packs. Anyone else excited for this…

Homebrew Follies
So, I decided to do a Cream Ale (for those non-homebrewers, it's basically a craft version of a lager, without lagering) and mashed in. Well, I was a little nervous about the temp of my water, so I tried a different thermometer (my girlfriend broke my stick one). Low-and-behold, 30 degrees off!!! So, I measured my temp in…

SE Michigan Brewery Tour
Hey everyone, I'm setting up a SE Michigan Brewery tour with some friends, and thinking of renting a party bus. Is anyone from SE Michigan, or want to travel to SE Michigan, to partake? I think we'll meet at Dragonmead, and then hit up 6-7 other breweries. September 28 (Saturday) is the date, and I'm working on the bus…

On-Deck for brewing / Recipe Sharing
So I kind of wanted to start this one. Not sure if you have a thread for this yet, but I thought "HEY!! What a good idea!" So, this would be a great place to share recipes, as well as tell what's next to brew!! For me, I'm brewing my "Independence Ale" on the 4th of July. This will be a nice, dramatic IPA with some AMAZING…

Much to-do About Nothing
So, I was just reading through the posts, and saw some comments about particular beers that I don't see all the hoopla over. So, this topic is simply this: What beers do you see as being blown WAY out of proportion to what they are? IE: What do people make a huge deal about that really, it's not worth it? OR What beers are…

Help Support Michigan Veterans!!!
Hey everyone, my name is Adam Campbell. I am a US Marine, serving from 2000-2004. I am an entrepreneur, exercise fanatic, and a supporter of my fellow veterans. Currently, I am trying to raise awareness for my idea, Maddog BrewHaus. I'll give you a little background: I am a homebrewer. I've been brewing for 4 years, and…

Grand Rapids 5k, 10k, 25k (2013-2014)
Hey all, wanted to start this thread, because I'm interested in running some Marathon's, 5k's, and 10k's. Wanted to know if anyone else on here would be/could be/is interested in the same. Currently, my plan is to run the "Run Thru The Rapids" 10k in October, the 25k Riverbank Run NEXT May (2014), and then the 25k Grand…

Running and BPM/Cadence
So, has anyone tried to achieve an iPod or iPhone full of all the same BPM music? I was running last night, and never really realized it, but "Sugar We're Going Down" by Fall Out Boy is the perfect BPM for my own personal cadence. If I could find more music with a BPM of the same, or around the same, as that, I'd be good.…
