Can't seem to lose weight? It may be your meal frequency.....
I found this article very intriguing and am trying it out myself.... Just how important is meal frequency? Let's put it this way: Comparing three “squares” to six meals a day is like comparing a 450 horsepower V-10, 8.0 liter Dodge Viper to a four cylinder Honda Civic. There’s nothing wrong with a Honda Civic - it will get…

MFP numbers changed but I didn't do anything!
yesterday my Daily protein intake arbitrarily changed from 88g per day to 81g per day? Why? I did not adjust any of my goals and this was BEFORE weekly weigh in. Why is MFP adjusting my protein intake? Anyone else have this issue?

"if every day were like today..."
beware that line of encouragement, "if every day were like today...", when you click the button to complete the day's entry. If you change anything but the total calories remain the same the amount of weight you will lose in 5 weeks (at least that's what mine says) fluctuates. For example, I completed my entries for the…

where to find accurate nutrition (calories, protein, carbs etc.)?
I'm finding a big difference between nutrition data online versus what's on a "Nutrition facts" labels. Unfortunately I am now finding the data from that…

So I tried it. Normally I only drink one decanter (500ml) in the morning before I start my day but today I tried another…

what's your experience with a 1200 calorie diet or less?
Does this type of calorie restriction really do what it says? All of the articles I have read say that to drop below this level causes "starvation mode". For me, my usual intake was around 2600 calories a day. maybe more. I am 260 lbs @ 5 foot 9 inches and 53 years old male. According to the "calculators", faster weight…

government USDA food & exercise tracker is incorrect
Before I saw MyFitnessPal I was using this Government website https://www.supertracker.usda.gov/ But I have one concern...why don't they subtract the daily calories burned from exercise from daily calorie goal like MFP does? Example On MFP your daily calorie goal is say 1800. Say you eat 1600 calories of food/drink by…

results of 20year study reveal weight loss is unattainable
I should have remembered the link but there is a study that was just recently released stating that obesity is here to stay. a 20 year study proves that dieting at any level is not going to help you lose weight if you are overweight. The study goes on to state that only 5% of dieters are successful in losing weight and…
