Lent 2017 - 40 days of logging
Hi all. Lent starts today so why don't we try to log into MFP for each of the 40 days (and try to log all food and exercise). Who's with me? We'll all look even more fabulous by Easter

Holding onto treadmill
just came out of the gym - four women in the gym next to me were on treadmills but were holding onto the bar for dear life. Surely that would really reduce the calorie burn?

New cover or clip for fitbit zip
I need a new clip cover thing for my zip- a piece of plastic broke off the back and I am worried the silicon bit will allow the actual fitbit to fall out. I checked the price of a replacement clip on amazon and it is nearly the same price as a new fitbit! Any other options for replacement clips at a more reasonable price?

Does cooking burn calories? MFP says yes!
One of my MFP friends logged "cooking" as an activity that burned calories. WTF??? I really can't see how preparing a meal could burn that many more calories than sitting still, unless your fridge was upstairs and your cooker was at the end of the garden. Am I missing something here?

Gospel choir singers- let's be MFP friends!
In my spare time after going to the gym I like to sing with my local gospel choir. Are there any fellow gospel singers here ? Maybe we could get healthy together an even share some ideas for songs :)

Low cal simple green lentil recipes please
I have a pack of green lentils which I am soaking in cold water. How long do they have to be soaked for? The pack says 12 hours but can I get away with. 8 hours? Also I would love some quick ideas of how to make a nice side dish or lunch with them. Thanks in advance.

Is fitbit better than mapmyrun?
I use map my run to log walks/ runs etc. I go to the gym a few times each week too. Is it worth me getting a fitbit? I have never used one so not sure if it will be any help to me. Also, which is the best fitbit to get? I 'm on a budget so not the top-of-the-range one!

Holidays- to log or not?
I'm making great progress after 3 weeks of consistent logging. I am away from home next week on holiday. I am not sure whether to keep logging or not. I want to be able to enjoy my holiday, but I don't want to ruin all my hard work either. What do others do for family holidays?

Pmt- help me push through it without a binge
I've been on MFP for two weeks, so far have been highly motivated. Tonight however I have PMT and my god I am craving some snacks. I've had a healthy protein snack and am up to my daily calories (including exercise cals). Think I'd better go to bed early to avoid the kitchen- any other suggestions?

Viewing message boards on iPhone
Hi, I have the iPhone app for logging calories etc. I've been viewing the message boards using safari but they are quite small to read. Is there a nicer way to view the message boards? Or should I dig out my glasses and laptop?
