Holidays- to log or not?

I'm making great progress after 3 weeks of consistent logging. I am away from home next week on holiday. I am not sure whether to keep logging or not. I want to be able to enjoy my holiday, but I don't want to ruin all my hard work either. What do others do for family holidays?

It's just my opinion, but I think you should enjoy your holiday. You can still make healthier choices, so you don't side-track all of your hard work. A short holiday won't ruin everything you've done if you are still sensible (and you can still enjoy yourself).
I went on vacation to Disney World for 2 weeks just last month. I didn't log my food and ate and drank what I wanted. I did make healthier choices such as fruit instead of fries, salads or sandwiches instead of burgers, and stopped eating when I felt satisfied. I had desserts and drank lots of coke-a-cola. Yes, I walked a lot, but I still came home and found I lost 6lb.s while on vacation.
The important thing is to get right back on track after you get back from your holiday! Have a great time.0 -

I would not worry about logging, however I would not go overboard or anything. Have a good time, make good choices, don't obsess over calories.0
