Got a good spaghetti sauce recipe?
I still need guidance in the kitchen (aka a recipe). I basically just want a really flavorful base (that doesn't include a jar of store-bought sauce!) that I can then add veggies and maybe some meat to. Thanks in advance for helping me out with this!

easy cooking question for people who cook...
Instead of potatoes, can I just stick some sliced up bell peppers alongside the pork and onions that I'm going to bake on 350 for about an hour? Will they just burn or will it work ok? Thanks.

Crockpot Recipe Question
I have some recipes that say to cook on high for one hour and then turn the setting to low for the rest of the cooking time. OK, I KNOW that this kind of question has been asked and answered a gazillion times already. But: I want to know that I'm eating enough calories (MFP's goal for me is 1200). Should I be trying to eat until my "Remaining Calories" is close to zero or until my "Net Calories" is 1200? Thanks! -LP
