Anyone doing Weight Watchers points plus and still logging food? Add me.
Hello, I'm looking for friends doing Points Plus and still logging what they eat. I am looking for ideas for meals and just generally curious to see what my points plus intake adds up to in calories. I've been doing the program on my own for the last few weeks and I decided I still want to log everything just to see how it…

Pre-workout supplements
Hi, I am a female looking for a boost before a workout. I want to start weight training 3x per week and am probably going to try something like Stronglifts 5x5 begginer. I have never taken supplements but I know there are tons of pre-workout mixes out there to help get you pumped before a workout and help with recovery. I…

movitation to work out after an off-day
I have a problem where I can get really motivated to work out for 5-6 days in a row, but as soon as I take a day off it's so difficult for me to get back into it. Usually, I end up taking 2-3 days off and then feel like I have to do it every day for 5-6 days again to make up for it (basically working out the same number of…

Looking for some new friends. :)
I've been using this site for a while but took a long break. It seems there are only a few people still logging so I was looking for some new friends for mutual motivation. Feel free to add me. :) Brit

Cooking Oils: Calorie help
When you cook with oil, do you include the full amount of calories for the amount of oil you use or does some of it get cooked off? For example I cooked with 1 tbsp of olive oil, is that 120 calories that I am eating?

Help! Bravo Italian Resturant: Calorie advice.
Hi! I ate dinner at Bravo last night and am wondering if anyone would have an idea if this sounds right. I ordered the roasted eggplant with Barilla whole grain penne. There was a little cheese on the dish but I did not get any extra. It had a tomato sauce. According to my estimate half of the dish has 350 calories. Does…

Insanity upper body modifications?
To anyone who is doing or has done insanity: I have come to learn that I have a pretty weak upper body and I find that a lot of the plank position/push up type activities on the insanity workout are simply much to difficult for me to do safely with my current strength. Does anyone have any suggested modifications? I hate…

Opinion: Have you ever stopped loving someone you were in lo
I've been broken up with the second person I ever loved for two months and am wondering if I will ever stop loving him. I was thinking back to my first love (we broke up 3+ years ago) and I know I still love him, I have just moved on. Is anyone else like me in that once they love someone they feel like will never stop? Or…

New member
Hi everyone! I just figured out how to search for and join groups and this one sounds perfect for me. I am a recent college graduate (about 6 months ago) and I've been working at my new job at a financial services company for about 6 months as well. Tax season is starting so life is getting more hectic. I hope to be able…

Back after a while, looking for new friends!
Hey everyone! I am back on MFP after a number of months of being gone. I am looking for some new friends/supporters as well as to be there to support you! I am 22 years old, a college graduate, and working my first job in financial planning. I love it. I am an optimist for the most part and a really good listener. I enjoy…

Can you see a difference in my body? :/
So I started paying attention to calories right after Easter and I cheated so much the first couple weeks and worked out very little, but I lost 3 lbs. For the past 3 weeks or so, I've been really good about watching calories and I've been working out almost 6 days per week. I haven't lost any weight since those first two…

Warming up?
Hi! I've noticed that maybe the first ten or fifteen minutes of my cardio (especially elliptical/bike/running) are much more difficult than the rest of the work out. Basically once I get past that point I feel as if I could keep going forever! (ok not really but I usually feel really good after that). I was just curious if…

Polar HRM & Warranties
I am looking to buy a polar RS100 and I've read through some posts on this site about the Polar brand. However, I am wondering about the 2 year warranty that comes with the Polar HRMs. I was going to purchase one through amazon.com because they are about $30 cheaper, but I realize I would likely not be getting the warranty…
