Beginners Running, where to start
So how do I start running? I'm not the most unfit person and do quite a bit of exercise but never done any running. What's the best way to get started? Just walk and get faster as you get fitter? Run as far as you can before resting when you run out of steam? Enter a charity fun run to provide a goal? Interested to hear…

press ups
Just wondering if you're not very good at them is it better to do a press up on your knees and be able to go lower or legs straight and do them feebly?

Tall girls workout clothes
Where do you tall girls find your workout clothes? I can cope with my leggings being shorter, but the vests are killing me. I can't find one that fits long enough to cover the gap and really does need to be covered if I'm jumping around, so for the time being I'm stuck in oversized tee which are not ideal. Any suggestions?

too sweaty?
when I'm exercising I get really red and sweaty, looking round the room it seems I'm the only one. I'm working hard, but so are other I assume so wondered why they still look fresh and I'm a wreak. Is it healthy to sweat so much? is there ever a case of too much? or do I just need to get fitter?

home made practice?
OK I'm getting to the end of my 30 days of yoga with Adrienne, and more and more she is leaving you to 'find what feels good' and do your own thing. I'm very new to yoga and I'm at a loss what to do without anyone telling me :\ Just wondered, do you with more experience, follow a routine? Have a specific series of moves?…

Breathing

Yoga at home
Been desperate to try yoga for a while now, but can't find anywhere near me that does any classes I can join. Has anyone tried yoga at home? I can see there are plenty of YouTube videos and websites, but I've never done any before or seen a class in action, so wondering how realistic it would be to start as an absolute…

confused about cholesterol
OK so I'm confused about good cholesterol versus bad cholesterol. I'm looking through my food diary (printable version) and I have consumed no cholesterol, apart from a couple of eggs. Does this mean I have a virtually cholesterol free diet. I'm sure it's not as simple as that. Thought there was a lot of cholesterol in…

Newbie
Hi Just wanted to introduce myself. Just joined today and still finding my way around. I'm a fat Mum looking to lose a couple of stone. I exercise 3-4 times a week and consider myself to be reasonable fit - working up a right good sweat each time, but I've never given a thought to what I eat and drink and the weight has…

piloxing
I'm new so was wondering how do you log an exercise class that is not in the data base? Do I find something similar or can I add it as a class?
